Scientists are educated and trained by the WEC R&D department, and hired by the WEC.
Unlike other civilian workers who are allowed to live off-site and cease service whenever they wish, Scientists are an exception and are hired for life.
They are highly dedicated professionals both because they are rewarded dearly, and because they are threatened with their lives. Therefore the WEC is presented with thousands discoveries and developments each year.
Some scientists work as ChemSuits.
